This video is an attempt to understand Kamala Das as a poet, a person and a Woman. It has been discussed that she mainly writes of Love, both received and seeking, the latter in her unsatisfied marital life.
We have talked of her in biographical light, the major themes of her writing and narrative style. The next half has a reading of Nani by one of us and The Blood by Kamala Das herself. The video ends with a small interview where we ask an informed senior about her take on Das' writings.
